Can I contact the official Naming Registrar Direct?

Yes, if you have the technology and can use it. However the fee charged by the UK Domain Name Registrars is currently fixed at £80. No discounts are available when ordering direct unless you pay to become a member.
In most cases ordering direct is pointless because even if you have the technical expertise and resources the cost involved far exceeds the low cost of us doing it for you.
To order direct you will need two computers permanently connected to the Internet and configured as name servers.
You will also pay £80 every 2 years if you go directly to the UK registrar.
